As Election Day approaches, we would like to remind you that if you are eligible, you may vote by: requesting a Vote-by-Mail ballot (if you desire to vote by mail as opposed to showing up at the polls) and marking your ballot (once you receive it in the mail) and mailing it out or depositing it at any voting location on Election Day.

If you desire to vote by mail, you may request a Vote-by-Mail ballot all the way up to Tuesday, November 1. If you are voting in person (at the polling place), the polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and will close at 8:00 p.m.

For the first time, City Clerk’s Offices throughout California have been designated as drop-off locations where any person can drop off a Vote-by-Mail Ballot. The City of Lynwood will participate in the Vote-by-Mail Drop-Off Location until November 7, 2016 for the November 8, 2016 Presidential General Election.  This agreement and authorization has been approved by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC).

This initiative will allow voters to utilize City Hall as a Vote by Mail Ballot Drop-Off Location. Voters will be able to drop off their completed marked Vote by Mail ballot, during the specified time and date(s) at our facility.

Location will be available to the public during your normal business hours.
