The City of Lynwood now has more than 303 positive cases of COVID-19 (the County of Los Angeles has more than 35,000 positive cases).
With the release of the latest City of Lynwood emergency order last week, the following businesses are open with curbside pick-up only:
– Florists
– Toy Stores
– Book Stores
– Clothing Stores
– Music Stores
– Sporting Goods Stores
Restaurants will remain restricted to takeout and delivery only. It is preferred you make your order online or on the phone. A take-out food order may be placed inside the food service establishment provided they adhere to physical distancing and infection control protocols including requiring masks/face coverings of employees and patrons, refusing admission to customers who refuse to cover their face and providing cleansing and sanitizing products.
It is important to remember that COVID-19 is highly contagious as the increase in positive cases show. Staying at home is the best way to avoid exposure. If you must go out, then you have to do the following.
– Residents MUST wear a mask or face covering while in public.
– Practice safe social distancing of six feet or more while in public.
– Wash your hands often.
– Do not touch your face.
The City of Lynwood will continue to update you on changes to the emergency orders and how they affect you.
Thank you for your patience and for being part of the solution.
