The city of Lynwood wishes all of its residents a Happy Labor Day–a federal holiday that was created in 1894 to honor the accomplishments of the working men and women of the United States.
We haven’t forgotten that many people, including some of our own city employees, are working today. We thank them for that. For others who have the day off, we hope that all are able to enjoy the day with their families and friends.
“Lynwood is a city full of hard working men and women who are contributing every day to our city and to our region,” said Lynwood Mayor Jose Solache. “We honor them for all they do for us.”
