Safety is a priority in the City of Lynwood and that includes making sure sidewalks and curbs are safe for our pedestrians.
Last week, the Department of Public Works repaired more than 50 sidewalks and safety ramps at more than 17 different locations. The goal is to eliminate tripping hazards. The work was completed on the 11000 block Virginia Avenue and 10700-10999 blocks Alexander Avenue.
Crews also painted more than 847 feet on the streets of El Segundo, Pine and Harris.
If you see a sidewalk that needs to be repaired or a curb that needs painting, you can request service from the City of Lynwood.
