For security, when connecting to any public or free WiFi network:
1.Refrain from shopping, accessing banking information and other sensitive information to prevent identity theft.
2. Make sure your computer or mobile device is updated with the latest operating software.
3. Keep your Antivirus/anti-malware software up to date.
4. Use HTTPS whenever you can since the communication protocol encrypts bi-directional data.
5. Turn off file sharing in Windows and MacOS and enable your system’s built-in firewall.
