Several hundred Lynwood residents turned out Tuesday night for the National Night Out—an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It also provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
“The event was a great success,”said Lynwood Mayor Jose Solache.”Not only does it provide an opportunity for the community to gather, but also it reminds us of the importance of public safety to our community and we can better understand what the first responders do.”
