National Night Out on Tuesday–City Council Wednesday
It will be a busy week in the city of Lynwood.
National Night Out will be held beginning at 5pm at the City Hall. There will be many activities for children, young people and families as we celebrate.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. It is the nation’s largest, annual crime prevention/safety event in the country.
As a result, the City Council meeting normally held the first and third Tuesdays of the month, will b moved to Wednesday this one week only. The Council meeting begin at 6 pm.

We hope you can join us at Lynwood City Hall for a night of fun and community building.
The National Night Out in Lynwood will feature music, information booths and entertainment for the children.
The idea of National Night Out is to make communities like Lynwood a safer and more caring place to live,” said Lynwood Mayor Jose Solache. “Tuesday night will give us all an opportunity to
come together and get to know each other better.”
The Sheriff and Fire Departments will also be part of the celebration.
