The rain this week has created some potholes on our Lynwood streets. We want to fix them as soon as possible.
Weather permitting, your Lynwood Public Works staff is going to fill as many potholes as possible. If you have a pothole in your neighborhood, please call us at 310-603-0220 ext. 281.
“This week’s wet weather has weakened the soil beneath the pavement while traffic applies the loads that stress the pavement past the breaking point. Our Lynwood Public Works team wants to address these potholes right away–and are asking our residents to let us know if there are potholes in their neighborhood,” said Sal Mendez, the city of Lynwood Public Works Director.
Repairing and upgrading the city’s streets has been a priority in the past year—and there are many repair and upgrade projects underway.
“Our residents told us that we needed to improve our streets, which is why we have responded,” said Lynwood Mayor Jose Solache. “We encourage our residents to tell us where these potholes are so we can fix them as quickly as possible.”
