The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department’s Lynwood Summer Enforcement Team has been successful in keeping Lynwood’s parks and streets safe for its residents. Now that school has started, focus will be shifted to the schools as a deputy has been assigned to each of the city’s high schools – Lynwood and Firebaugh.
Additionally, the Sheriff’s Department continues to patrol the City’s streets to ensure that students are safe while walking to and from school. The area around Helen Keller Elementary has been of particular interest during the weeks before school to make sure the area is safe for nearby children.
The Lynwood Summer Enforcement Team was made possible through funds from Measure PS, making sure taxes paid in Lynwood benefit its residents.
Thanks to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department for their hard work during the summer and throughout the year!
