During this Covid-19 pandemic quarantine, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lynwood COPS Team is conducting extra and ongoing patrol checks and missions to keep the peace and ensure public safety and order. Some of the areas of focus include essential businesses to ensure our residents are safe while going out to get groceries and other necessary items.
The Lynwood COPS Team is also conducting checks of Lynwood City Park, Burke-Ham Park, and the Adolfo Medina Park.
Additionally, Century Station has provided the following tips to keep your home and property safe:
– Make sure you have good lighting on your property
– Install cameras
– Be a good neighbor – if you see something and say something
– Go to bed with your key fob nearby – if you are awakened by a suspicious noise, push the panic button on the fob to sound the alarm and thwart a potential crime
Stay safe everyone. If you must go out, remember to wear a mask or face covering and practice social distancing.
