The City of Lynwood Public Works Department clears trash, bulky items and weeds from nearly 100 miles of the City’s streets and alleys every week. The items crews clear usually include furniture, appliances, construction material, tires any anything else you can imagine.
But last week, one item that was cleared may have been a first – a boat. Yes, someone abandoned a boat in a Lynwood alley!
Keeping Lynwood’s streets and alleys clean is an unending job.
You can help keep Lynwood clean by properly disposing of your unused items. Here are some resources:

If you need additional information, visit the City of Lynwood’s environmental page: http://lynwood.ca.us/public-works/lynwood-environmental-page/
And if you want to get rid of a boat, www.kars4kids.org accepts boats.
Let’s work together to keep the City of Lynwood clean and safe!
