Lynwood’s Public Works crews are ensuring that the streets around our schools are safe for students.
Last week, work continued to repaint crosswalks and street legends to make them more visible for both pedestrians and drivers. Some of the work included:
- Near Lindbergh Elementary School, crews painted more than 200 feet of legends on the street.
- Near Roosevelt Elementary School, crews repainted 2,308 feet of legends and 2,073 feet of curbing.
- Near Lincoln Elementary School, crews repainted 537 feet of crosswalks and legends.
Thank you to our crews for making streets safer for students walking to school.
