The awards keep coming for Lynwood’s Ricardo Lara Linear Walking Park.
The Southern California chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects awarded the ‘ASLA SoCA Honor Award’ to Lara Park.
You’ll remember that the city park won the Urban Land Institute’s Community Impact Ward at a ceremony in Boston in October. The Lara Park was one of five international parks considered for the award, which recognizes open and transformative spaces that promote healthy, sustainable and equitable outcomes in their communities.
