Thanksgiving Schedule for Trash Pick-Up:
Residential Trash Pick-up will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week. Commercial Trash Pick-up will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week. Saturday collections are not affected.
Practice safety during your Thanksgiving celebration!
Los Angeles is experiencing a surge in positive COVID-19 cases and officials are asking that all our residents have a plan to celebrate safely.
Keep Your Celebration Small
It is safest to celebrate Thanksgiving with ONLY those in your household. If you must, you can extend that group to no more than two other households of people with whom your regularly interact.
Celebrate Outside
We are lucky to live in Southern California, where Thanksgiving is often a beautiful, sunny day. If you do invite two households over for turkey, think about dining outside while practicing social distancing.
Have a Big Gathering Online
If you are used to a larger family gathering, get together online using Zoom, FaceTime or other apps. You can coordinate your mealtime so everyone can chat and eat together virtually.
Other things to think about:
- Wear a mask when not eating or drinking.
- Maintain a physical distance of six feet.
- Wash your hands often.
- Don’t share utensils or drinks.
- Do NOT attend any event if you feel sick.
