“We’re not closed!”
That’s the message from the city of Lynwood whose employees continue to provide services for our residents during the coronavirus (COVID-19) public health emergency.
But there have been adjustments. In certain departments we try to schedule people so that no more than one person is in the office at the same time.
For some of other workers who work in teams, you’ll see them wearing masks and practicing social distance.
“Our employees have been great in adjusting to this new work environment,” said Cynthia Stafford, Lynwood Director of Human Resources.
A reminder to our residents who like to pay their water or garbage bills in person, we aren’t accepting in person payments. You can pay online – register here: https://ecommerce.lynwood.ca.us/Default.asp?Build=UB.UtilitiesHome&ClearErrors=Y
We urge our residents to follow us on social media: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to learn the latest developments as we work together to address COVID-19.
Thanks for all your help and support.
