Nearly 110,000 square feet of Lynwood alleys were cleaned last weekend – and that doesn’t even include individual location pickups and assistance with sidewalk debris removals!
Here’s a partial list of alleys that were cleaned by the City of Lynwood Public Works Department:
– 3800-4200 blocks of Lugo
– 3700 block of Palm
– 11022 block of Pope
– Brenton and Norton alley
– 12015 block of Third
– 3500 block of MLK, Jr.
Lynwood crews cleaned everything from trash and debris to furniture and oil.
Keeping the City’s alleys and streets clean is only one of many duties that fall upon the Public Works Department. The department is also responsible for repairing potholes, sidewalks and streets, maintaining City buildings and spaces, and upgrading the City’s infrastructure among other duties.
Thank you to the Public Works Department!
