·The Lynwood Senior Citizens Center will be available on Friday AND Sunday beginning at 10 a.m. (The Center will be closed on Saturday)
·If you feel like swimming to escape the heat, the Natatorium will extend its open swim hours on Friday and Saturday.
“The high heat we are experiencing not only is uncomfortable, but also can be a health hazard, particularly for OUR seniors and youth,” said Mark A. Flores, the city of Lynwood’s Director of Recreation and Community Services. ”The Cooling Centers are another way that the city is working to create ways to make Lynwood a safe and healthy community.”
