On Saturday, September 21, the City of Lynwood, the Lynwood Unified School District, the Reformed Church of Los Angeles and many local groups gathered at Lynwood’s Washington Elementary for the Annual Lynwood Commitment Community Clean-Up. Together, the community worked to beautify the school campus and surrounding neighborhood. They also painted a beautiful new mural for the school’s students. This is an annual event that brings out Lynwood residents and gives them a chance to show pride in their city and community.
