Last week, the City of Lynwood’s Public Works Department started 2020 hard at work to make sure the City’s streets are safe and clean.
Here is what they did – by the numbers:
Street Division repaired more 286 potholes citywide including Fertile and Virginia Streets and placed 11 sidewalk safety ramps at multiple locations
Right of Way cleared more than 60,250 square feet of city alleys of trash, debris and bulky items. This doesn’t include individual location pickups and assistance with sidewalk debris removals
Street Division removed more 297 square feet of graffiti from city parks
Right of Way cleared three separate major transient locations and removed more than six dump trucks full of debris from city streets from those locations
This is just ONE WEEK of work!
Give the Public Works crews a shout-out when you see them hard at work on our streets!
