To celebrate Lynwood’s Centennial year, a new city motto and two centennial logos were approved at this week’s City Council meeting.
Lynwood’s new motto is “Strength Through Community.”
“We believe that our new motto ‘strength through community” fits Lynwood perfectly, a city with a promising future that can be realized by all of us working together,” said Mayor Marisela Santana. “You will be hearing it a lot as we celebrate the city’s 100th birthday this year!”
The City Council also approved two logos to commemorate Lynwood’s Centennial year. Both new logos will be used throughout 2021 and for Centennial festivities.
