Let’s acknowledge the great work Mark Flores and our City of Lynwood recreation department are doing. The Lynwood City Council has designated July to honor their work.
Just this month, our recreation department has organized the annual 4th of July firework specular and hosted an ice cream social for the seniors. There will also be a family night at the pool, on July 28th and again on August 11th.
“The quality of a community is often determined by the types of recreation programs that are available. I am very proud of our community and the way we maximize the use of our space and offer a variety of programs from toddlers to seniors ” said Flores, who added our recreation program is growing and offering more programs and resources for residents of all ages.
Congratulations to all!
