If you’ve ever been to the Lynwood City Hall Annex, there’s a good chance the first person to meet was Ramon Galindo—who is an Administrative Assistant in the City Manager’s Office.
His warm smile and genuine personality are a tremendous first impression for any visitor to City Hall.
To the delight of dozens of co-workers and family members in attendance, Ramon was named the City of Lynwood’s Employee of the Quarter at Tuesday night’s City Council meeting.
In nominating him for the honor, a co-worker wrote that Ramon “always goes the extra mile for his colleagues and for our residents.”
City Manager Ernie Hernandez and each member of the City Council took time to praise Ramon’s great work ethic, his attitude and his ability to help solve a resident’s problem by just caring.
So, the next time you visit City Hall, be sure and say hi to Ramon although there’s a good chance he will have already said “hi” to you.
