Add repairing the streets from burnout damage to the list of tasks for Lynwood’s Public Works crews.
Not only do our crews work tirelessly each week to clean our streets and alleys of illegally dumped trash and debris, repair potholes, work to prevent weeds on public property, prepare for citywide events such as the Lynwood 5K, clean more than 100 bus stops, they repair the mess left by thoughtless burnout drivers.
The City of Lynwood is working with Century Station to reduce burnout gatherings, which are damaging to our infrastructure, very annoying for our residents and dangerous for both participants and bystanders.
If you see or hear burnouts, you can call Century Station at (323) 568-4800.
Let’s work together to keep Lynwood safe by stopping dangerous burnout gatherings.
