When Lynwood resident Irene Fuentes noticed a pothole on the street in front her house on Millrace Ave., she knew exactly what to do.
Her friend recently showed her how to install the Lynwood Go Request app on her phone and this was the first chance she had to use it.
“I went outside and took a photo and put it on the app,” said Ms. Fuentes. “I was surprised because I took the picture on 1:30 on Wednesday afternoon and the next day at nine o’clock in the morning, they were fixing my street.”
Ms. Fuentes spoke at the February 18 City Council meeting and told her story as well as complimented the City of Lynwood.
From her experience, using the GO Request App (available on Google Play and the App Store) was easy and her request was fulfilled in record time.
