Lynwood’s Public Works crews repaired 229 potholes last week. Amazingly, 200 of those potholes were on Century Lane between Louise Street and Wright Road. Repairing the potholes will make walking and driving safer for residents.
Crews also performed weekly tasks that included (sample list):
- Cleared trash and debris from four alleys that are on the 10-14-day rotation,
- Painted 6,626 feet of red curbing on Bullis Road and Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.,
- Cleaned 46 bus shelters,
- Picked-up and cleaned illegally dumped items from 40 locations, and
- Invoiced two households for the costs of clean up for illegally dumping items on public property.
Each week, Lynwood’s crews are out cleaning up illegal dump sites, repairing our infrastructure and maintaining our public spaces so they are safe for you.
When you see our crews, make sure to thank them!
