Have you ever wanted to own your own business? The first thing you’ll have to do is make sure you can operate the business at your desired location. That means you’ll contact the City of Lynwood Planning Division. This is to ensure the business is compatible with the City’s municipal code and zoning requirements.
Once approved, you’ll need to get a business license.
You can start this process online by visiting https://lynwood.hdlgov.com/. Any business operating within Lynwood, which includes home-based businesses, building contractors, independent contractors and non-profit businesses, must have a business license.
For more information, please contact the City’s Business License Officer, Erik Garcia, at (310) 603-0220, Ext. 314 or via email at egarcia@lynwood.ca.us.
